Documents for renewal of temporary non-profite residence

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND RENEWAL OF THE NON-PROFIT TEMPORARY RESIDENCE AUTHORIZATION

• Application form in official form (EX-01), in duplicate, duly completed and signed by the foreigner.
• The fees: will accrue at the time of admission to process the application, and must be paid within ten business days, they are: Model 790 code 052
• Passport or travel title, recognized as valid in Spain, valid for at least one year.
• Complete copy of valid passport or travel document.
• Documentation proving that you have a livelihood for the period requested.        

It may be credited by any means of proof, including the provision of property titles, certified checks or credit cards accompanied by a bank certification that accredits the amount available as credit on the card.

If the means come from shares or participations in Spanish, mixed or foreign companies, located in Spain, it will be proven by their certification that the applicant does not carry out any work activity, accompanying an affidavit in this regard.

• Documentation proving that you have health insurance.
• In the event of having minors of compulsory school age in charge, a report issued by the competent, regional or state authorities, or the educational center.
• Where appropriate, the integration effort of the foreigner accredited through the positive report of the Autonomous Community of their place of residence will be assessed.

Important note: when documents from other countries are provided, they must be translated into Spanish or the co-official language of the territory where the application is submitted.

On the other hand, all foreign public document must be previously legalized by the Consular Office of Spain with jurisdiction in the country in which said document has been issued or, where appropriate, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation except in the case in which said document has been apostilled by the competent authority of the issuing country according to the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 and unless said document is exempt from legalization by virtue of the International Convention.

Application period: during the 60 calendar days prior to the expiration date of the authorization. It can also be requested within 90 days from the date on which the validity of the authorization had ended, without prejudice to the possibility of the corresponding sanctioning procedure being initiated.

Application resolution period: 3 months from the day following the date on which it was entered in the registry of the competent body for processing. After said period has elapsed without the Administration having made the notification, it may be understood that the request has been upheld by administrative silence.
