Condado del Jaruco

The Condado del Jaruco urbanization is located next to the Fenals area of ​​Lloret de Mar. This sector is famous for the quality of the villas built, since in the not so distant years 80-90 many Germans and Swiss lived here, who built houses in good faith based on their countries with a severe climate. The price of the villas in this urbanization is moderately high. Condado del Jaruco has a very good location, since there are two entrances and, consequently, two exits. One of the accesses is located next to the road towards Girona, which borders the Rieral neighborhood and the Mas Romeu urbanization, and the other access is on the road towards Blanes and Barcelona, ​​which adjoins the Fenals. Within the private sector there is another independent urbanization of semi-detached houses called Vila de Angel.

In the Condado del Jaruco urbanization there are two restaurants: El Senglar and El Giorgio. The Giorgio restaurant invites you to enjoy international cuisine, but also in this cozy place you can taste Italian cuisine. El Senglar restaurant is a traditional Catalan farmhouse and offers local cuisine. On weekends you can enjoy a menu for only € 15 per person, and during the week the restaurant offers a menu for only € 7.50 per person. The farm has a barbecue place. In advance you can reserve the rental of the barbecue and tables for any type of event.

In the Condado del Jaruco urbanization there is the only equestrian club in our city and tennis courts for the exclusive use of the residents of the area.

Due to the location of the sector, large supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl and Caprabo are very close. On the way to Fenals, the urbanization adjoins the Water World water park, which is evident that it is nearby, but despite this, it does not affect the peace and tranquility of the neighbors. In Condado del Jaruco, there is a group of owners on WhatsApp that was created to improve the security of the urbanization.

The name of the urbanization was given thanks to Nicolau Font y Maig, who was named Count for his philanthropic activities. Despite his opposition, the people called him "Count of Jaruco." The current area of ​​the urbanization was formerly the estate of the Indian. From Condado del Jaruco, there is a road to San Pedro del Bosque, where a 10th century monastery is located, which Nicolau Font y Maig converted into a home in their time.

At the door of the monastery we are greeted by the famous sculpture of the Angel of Lloret. Today the Benedictine Monastery of San Pedro del Bosque, of historical interest, is a luxury and exclusive hotel. There is peace and quiet, where every detail has been thought so that its guests can relax and enjoy gastronomy, spa treatments and massages in a unique natural environment.
