The Santa Cristina urbanization is legally divided into two parts and therefore it is the only private sector that belongs to the two cities of Lloret de Mar and Blanes. Santa Cristina, is a privileged urbanization for its spectacular views and proximity to one of the most emblematic beaches of Lloret de Mar, Santa Cristina beach. It should be noted that the urbanization has a very good location, it is located between Lloret de Mar and Blanes, with easy access from the road, exit for the motorway towards Barcelona is 6 km away and exit to the road to Girona is 4 km away. The port of Blanes is located 3 km, as is the center of Lloret de Mar. The closest supermarkets, bars and restaurants are only 1 km away. For its fantastic beach, spectacular views, tranquility and an unbeatable location, the Santa Cristina Urbanization is highly valued and counts as one of the most prestigious. The price of the villas in this area varies between about 500,000 euros and 2,500,000 euros.

Santa Cristina beach is a beach of fine sand and crystal clear waters, the beach is hidden between two large mounds, sheltered from the winds and waves, leaving its waters in constant calm. For these reasons this beach is very loved by families with young children. Santa Cristina beach can be reached by walking along a path surrounded by shady trees, which runs to the left of the Hermitage, which by the way gives the beach its name.

The first information obtained about the Hermitage dates from 1376, but the current temple is from the end of the 18th century. It is neoclassical in style and has a very rich marble high altar made in Italy, and an interesting collection of votive offerings and miniature ships. In the square under the centenary pine, during the Fiesta Mayor (Santa Cristina day, July 24), the brotherhood lunch of all the fishermen is celebrated, where the typical "stew" is eaten. There is also an exceptional viewpoint on the coast. It is one of the spaces most loved by the people of Lloret. The people's devotion to Santa Cristina led them to acquire, over the centuries, three of the most important relics of the Saint: the skull, a rib and a femur. The rib and femur disappeared as a result of the 1936 revolution, but the skull and a small bone remain, a relic, the latter, which is transported in a maritime procession every year for the Santa Cristina Festival.

In its surroundings there is a parking (paid during the summer months) for cars and motorcycles. On the beach of Santa Cristina, we can count on the rental of umbrellas, a kiosk selling ice cream and drinks, two restaurants where you can order a light breakfast, sandwiches or various à la carte dishes. The beach has a rescue and first aid service, equipped showers and a locker service. A secret for snorkelers: there is an image of Santa Cristina hidden somewhere under the sea, off the coast of Santa Cristina beach.

As it is far from the center, it has a more familiar and quieter atmosphere than other beaches in Lloret de Mar. Although in high season it is advisable to come early, as it is also usually filled with local tourists who come by boat.

From Santa Cristina beach, you will be able to access a hidden place known only by local people, which is Cala Treumal, it is located on the right side, separated by rocks, a small cove, surrounded by vegetation, that will give you all the tranquility and relaxation you need to enjoy a day at the beach!

Another of the activities that cannot be missed in this area are walks surrounded by nature. From Santa Cristina Beach, through perfectly signposted dirt roads, you can easily access Cala Sa Boadella and the Santa Clotilde Gardens, two essential places to visit during your stay in Lloret de Mar.
